Simplicity® is an excellent choice for porch, patio, deck or window screen projects, and for a long list of special-use applications beyond those. It handles triangles, trapezoids and other odd shapes well, and it is probably the best choice where fabrication has to happen on the job site. Very good quality at an affordable price.

The closer a panel gets to the 156 UI maximum, and the further it exceeds it, the more flexible the frame becomes. Larger panels need a more secure installation.
Support bars are structural
Support bars for Simplicity® screens are not decorative. They make the frame substantially sturdier and are recommended in any panel with a height or width over 48". The bar should run parallel to the shortest dimension, positioned about a third of the way along the longest dimension. For most porch, patio and deck applications that means 36" up from the base.
Skipping the support bars where they are recommended causes an hourglass effect, loose screen material, or blowouts.
Off-season winterization
Matching PVC inserts are available for off-season protection. Order or make a second set of frames with PVC film installed in place of screen material. The PVC is double polished, UV stabilised, resists scratching and stands up to the weather, and a far more economical route than glass where budget matters.
